Hi Geetarmeister,

Ya know how I feel about your axe playin!! It kicks serious ass!! :)

wank....wank.....wank.... :D You rawk the rawker in me!!!

Everyone else seems to like the drums, but I don't care much for the sound. That however is me. I even spent the time to listen over and over, but still could not take a liking to the tone......or something.
I guess I things hear differently!!!

I hope this is useful critisism, and just not me talking out my.........

I still love this song. It has always been my favorite on soundclick along with 'Black and Blue'!!

TRUE :)

Hey Tr00!,.............. :D

Thanx for the comments and feedback, I really do appreciate it!

Are you referring to the drums and not liking the tone??........If so, I think it is the sound characteristics of the Zoom 234 Machine and the fact that I transferred the drums (which I played live on the Zoom 234) from a Yamaha MD4 Digital recorder to the Boss BR1600CDR.

The tone could all be changed by eq, so I guess it is all a matter of taste, but all the feedback is appreciated and will be used in reference on all my future recordings!

Thanx Tr00!!......... :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Hi r00!! You are welkom!!

Yes r00, I am referring to the tone...I would like to hear a live kit of drums with this song. It would really take it over to the other side! It isn't your playing that sounds not so great, but the tone. You play good r00!! :)

Oh Grotty r00 boy, I can't stop listening tonight!! The more I listen, the more amazed I become. What finger work!! It is most excellente'!! To listen to a song, and hear it's sound as a whole is great. But when one takes the time to "listen", and hear what went into it to make it a "whole", they begin to hear all kinds of kick ass stuff!! That is what I have been doing tonight in this clinic I think. I have been hearing some really cool songs, and really listening to what went in them to make them that.

This one does rock the house!! :D :D :D

r00, some real drum tracks would be great with it!! :) :) :) :)

Tr00~ :D :D :D

Hey Tr00!,.......... :D

How you described your listening is how you get to be able distinguish each instrument and how it sits in the whole soundscape of the tune.

You are getting the hang of this listening and commenting thingy we have going in this mp3 clinic.

Thanx for your support and compliments Tr00!

Drums goot
Guitar double plus goot
BASS MORE, BASS need MORE.
MORE bass, more.
Mind you I reckon..., well you have a vague idea of my preferences in guiatr tone.
Fast,
A blast,
When will you be plater caste?
Oh, did I mention a teensie bit more bass'd be nice from my perspective?

Nice Gorty. I particularly like the acoustic vs electric arrangement.

But I agree with our previous pal too: crank that bass! Or maybe that's just my crap work pc speakers :) And I'm sure you know better than me (from your background in this style of muzak) how everything should sound.

Pretty cool live drum machine playing! That's the first time I've really heard ZOOM drums (or known that I have). I do reckon our Boss drums sound better though :) I've used my BR1200 drums (same drums as yours) on almost all of my stuff and been pretty happy with them. But what is REALLY worth doing is, after laying down all the the patterns in the arrangement, go back to each one in the microscope mode and tweak each hit randomly +/- 3-5 velocity units. It might take an hour to do for the whole song. But it makes an amazing difference.

Thanks for the listen.

Hey rayc,

I am hearing you on the bass, I will tweak that up especially as I tried to lay down a semi-walking style bass line and quite enjoyed doing so!

Thanx for listening and commenting rayc!

Hey aspiring,

A big thank you for your listen and comments, I appreciate it!

I too definitely prefer the Boss drums on the BR1600, but I needed to have something a little more real as in the feel of the drums with this one and I haven't quite got the full hang of programming my own patterns on the Boss BR1600!

Thanx for the tip on the velocity adjustments under microscope!!!!....I am going to check that out!

Thanx again aspiring!

Hey Gorty, I'm really digging this. Nice licks. This is the kind of tune I need to help me improve my lead playing. It's like a rock riff text book. Very cool. I might learn all your licks and come back here and post this tune with real drums!!! Seriously, though, this is a cool jam.

Hey RAMI,

I apologize for not replying to your post earlier!!! :o :o :o :o .....I did read your post and I thank you for your reply and the time of yours taken to listen to my tune! :) .....I missed it when I was shuffling back and forth with my replies! :(

Thanx for the compliments RAMI, I am encouraged by responses like yours!.....Thanx Mate!! :)

My drums are the constant area in my recordings I need to work on!!

Thanx again RAMI..... :)

Hey Bryan,

I just checked out some of your other stuff and would encourage everyone else to have a listen. If you liked "Electrified" you're gonna really like his other stuff!

I took a real liking to the "Hyperactive Wah Wah". Great stuff man!

You have come a long way with your listening Tr00!......and when you mix your own tunes you start to understand what will effect other peoples mixes by your own experience!

Sweet! Kangaroos rockin out guitar :D Great playing and feel to this, just fun to listen to.
Guitar and drums sound louder then the bass, so I'm guess I'm saying it could use some more bass.
This rocks man, really enjoyed it!
It might be cool to do like a mix of the two versions, then add some harmonica. Like back and forth between acoustic/electric, then a harmonica solo/backing part... just an idea :)
Cheers r00dawg

Hey SnakeDude,

Thanx for your comments and your listen!...This was recorded at the same time as the other version with the nylon string acoustic guitar lead, so your idea of the harmonica and the mix of the two guitars is a very good idea (punkin suggested the two different guitars as well) and I am seriously entertaining the idea of taking your suggestions on this!

Thanx again SnakeDude!

How's your new Statocaster going??? :)
