hello guys,
ive been coming across a bunch of tascam 688s lately and they all seem to suffer from the same issue BIG issue. once i replace all rubber and recapp they seem to have an issue maintaining their speed over a long period of time. almost seems as if it might be a torque issue.
my question to you guys is, can TORQUE be that sensitive to cause intermittent play back speeds? they never speed up, just slooooow down by a half step. thanks again
