Ah I think I know what you need to do here. You need to get a 1/4"Jack to 240v/110v mains adaptor. Plug the Jack into the guitar (well duh) and the other end into the mains power outlet. Sorted.

(be sure not to wear chain mail for this...)

You just described all of Hixmix' posts, except they're not Zen-like or comical.
 
I think it must be one of them ESP guitars...you just have to tap into it and hear the sound with your inner ear
