Elco Connectors

I've recently bought a desk which was to have 8 sub master bus outputs but once I got the desk I found elco connectors on the back instead of the outputs I was expecting. How are these connected, and considering I wanted to use the 8 busses to connect directly to the inputs on the pro tools 002 interface, how can I now achieve that if at all?
