Effects that take the Hiss outta your signal, Not just Gate?

Are there any Units out there, That will not Gate the Hiss out of my Signal, But will remove it completely, or at least minimize it more when Im playing?
 
Look for single ended noise reduction unit. They go quite cheaply now used, because of the changover from tape to DAW's.

I use DBX 929's, but they require a 900 rack, probably somethng you won't want to mess with. DBX also made a 1/2 rack unit called the 150, or 150X maybe. Do some google searches on that and see if it is what you are looking for.
 
Spend money on a cleaner signal path, power conditioning and better cables. The last two should give you noticeable improvement for a few hundred bucks as long as the rest of the gear isn't complete crap.

Ditto.

But if you're sticking with what you've got, the Behringer Denoiser does a very fine job with loud sources like rhythm / distorted guitar, drums, anything where you're playing level can generally remain above a threshold..... works pretty well as a gate too with the expander section. If you're doing quiet stuff, the above advice is the best you're gonna do....get quieter gear.
