Effects Processor

I would appreciate some help...
I am in the market for an effects processor that I can use on my 424 mk III.
Can you suggest a good one for approximately 100.00$-150.00$?
Is the rack system better? Or the pedal type?
I would be using it for vocals mainly but if it worked on instruments as well that would be great!

Are you looking for a efx unit to add 'Verb,Chorus,Flange, etc or a Dynamics processor to shape the the flavor of your vocs such as an EQ or Compressor?

I use a TC Electronic M300 for vocals... (Reverb and Compressor or De-esser). It's $199, but definitely a nice unit. Unless you're an awesome singer, the reverb definitely helps.
