Effects plugins which ones are worth it?

hey guys i am in need of the best plugins that are out there. i need REVERB, COMPRESSOR,FLANGER,DISTORTION and DELAY.. can somebody tell me which ones have the closest hardware effect out there? somebody told me TC essentials , but i have problems running it in fruityloops...someproblems with DX plugs.. that is why i am thinking to go with VSTs... anybody ? thank you!!!!!!

There are none.

Plugin effects suck.

Some good compressors, gates, and EQ's though. Basically, all the non-sexy stuff.

The best ones out there are probably Waves (they make a sort of good reverb), Sonic Timeworks (phaser is cool), and Funk Logic.

I like the Waves Mastering Edition DX plug ins. Sonic Foundry has some decent noise removal plug ins. I'm told T-Racks is decent. I don't think you'll find many "effects" plug ins (distortion, flange, etc.) that are very good though. Just my opinion!

I'll put a second vote in for the waves plugins. They sound good for plugins. But they are pricey, you get what you pay for, but for that money you can also consider your hardware options.
