Effects of Power Source/Stability on Recording Quality

I was wondering, since people make quite a bit of fuss over the quality of electronics, cables, connectors, etc of recording equipment and just about all of it is powered from some type of power source, would the quality and stability of this source have an impact on the quality of sound produced? Would it be worth it to invest in a high quality power source with quality power conditioning and conductivity?

It can make a big difference. The Topaz conditioners are pretty good. They can be expensive new but you can find good deals on Ebay and at electronics salvage stores.
