Hi -- I am a Cubase LE user and have been trying to figure out how to do an effects chain. I.e. add an effect to a track, then route that effect to another effect. I think I have figured it out, but would welcome a professional opinion.

1) Create a group channel (group channel 1).
2) Select a channel and route one of the sends to group channel 1 you just created.
3) Select and insert effect for group channel 1.
4) Use the slider in the individual channel send to adjust the level of the group channel 1 insert effect.
5) Create another group channel (group channel 2).
6) Route one of the sends from group channel 1 to group channel 2.
7) Select an insert effect for group channel 2.
8) Use the slider in group channel 1 send to adjust the level of the group channel 2 insert effect.

I used delay in group channel 1, and routed that to group channel 2 where I used an insert reverb effect. It sounds like it works -- a reverbed delay -- but I am not sure about the routing. Is this right?

Thanks --

Keith
