Edirol M-10DX Digital Mixer

I'm trying to cheaply utilize the s/pdif input on my audio interface to free up 2 more inputs.

Does anyone have any experience with the Edirol MD-10X digital mixer, price is right, 2 pre-amps, onboard effects.

Granted because of the price range it's probably not the best, but this is just my basement hobby.
