I’d post one of my things here and make Ed happy but I’m never satisfied with the end results. But then most of my stuff has no end results because I start new stuff before I finish the old stuff. If Dragon wants to be a janitor, maybe he could help me clean up my act. Then there’s the dead buddy problem I’ve mentioned before. I started recording when my three best friends were still alive. All musicians. Now I’m here with all these loose ends and the gear we all could have used when they were alive. It’s no wonder I’m stuck in that cave all the time.

I'm in the process of streamlining my set up. Right now, I'm experimenting with recording from a laptop (yeah, I know, big deal). Hopefully, by next week, I'll have some kind of crappy tryout file for you to dish and diss, and, hopefully, help me massage.

So, don't feel so bad. Some people will just put ANYTHING up.

Monty, if you're never happy with the endresults, that's one more reason to put it up here. Let others tell you what is wrong. That's the easy way. Sorry to hear about your friends...
 
Don't let monty fool any of you. The reason he never gets any recording done is because he is too busy eating weenies.

You’re about half right there, Ed. I tend to eat out of boredom when I should be working on recording, right?

And Shaky, I think it’s a big deal. Sounds like you’re doing what I only contemplate doing with a laptop. You mentioned having a lan card too. Now you can do anything anywhere. Cool.

Roel, I’ve re-recorded one of my songs maybe 20 times. Around 8 tracks total. I think it’s 5 minutes long. Different equipment, different formats, different this, different that. That’s a lot of recording, but I’m never satisfied with the results, so I can’t let anyone hear it. I know, that’s not good, but I’m a perfectionist. On the other hand maybe I’m just too lousy and don’t want it known. I’m used to collaborating with my dead friends. Together we could do some pretty cool stuff.
 
Okay, stop showing off and making excuses and put an MP3 up in any case. Collaborate with your dead friends if you have to.
