ECM8000 or mxl603...

I could afford either the ECM8000 or mxl603 for drum overheads...which one would be best???

Both are good choices, but it really depends on the room, the drums, and the kind of music you're doing.

The room I would be recording in is 15 by 15...wooden walls...drop ceiling, thick carpet...

It is a Pearl Export Series and mostly rock and jazz...
