Help! I'm having troubles getting echo to work properly in Cakewalk v9. My setup is a Roland XP-60 run into a MOTU MIDI express XT (USB) which is the interface for the PC. I have 'local off' set on the keyboard as well as 'remote keyboard off'. Problem is that when I set cakewalk to auto echo, I get a strange MIDI loop. I can get around this by setting the local on port to the XP-60 port, but then I get strange echo behaviour in that Cakewalk does not echo channel 1 (as it shouldn't) but does echo channels 2-16. This is wacky, does anyone know how to setup the echo properly so that I can control which channel on the XP-60 I use via cakewalk without it causing a MIDI loop to occur?
