Where can I find out more information regarding the "Echo Mia" soundcard?
I am interested in system requirements, capabilities, pricing, etc.

Thank you

If I scrap up a few more $.
By the way, how do you hook your mixer,pre-amp, into the soundcard?

by means of 1/4" balanced plugs.

I've used mine for the last 1.5 years. Great card.

Just make sure you go to Echo's site and check the compatibility list for your motherboard. I had lots of people ask me for help and then found that they had a mobo that was on Echo's "known issues" list. (this is a good thing to find out about BEFORE you buy ANY soundcard from ANY manufacturer, by the way...)

I just got up, read this thread, and poked around using the link that was provided. Can you post another link for the "known issues" page?

Thanks.

I see. I guess I was looking for a page titled "know issues".

What was I thinking? :D

It seems that they are uncertian of the performance of non-AMD systems. I'm pretty sure I have an Intel chipset with my P3, but brand disclaimers make me a little nervous.

This brings up another issue: I read reviews on some sites where users have such at widely diverse opinion of the card that I don't know what to believe. I don't want to install something and go through a week of tweaking and support calls. I just want the thing to do it's job.

Is a good experience right from day one a RARE experience in home recording?

We all do, and most of the time, this is what happens. But noone can tell you that it will work. We can only tell you that it probably will work... :)

Yeah it's the same, but with midi. But you can still find the Mia in a lot of places, sometimes for $100.
