any fellow audiofire 12 users:

im having troubles with my unit, it wont save the clock rate when i set it in the control panel.

Whenever i change the clock rate within the control panel it changes it to the corresponding value on the audiofire 12 but as soon as i turn the audiofire 12 off it just defaults back to 48KHz every time and i have to go back in to the control panel and change the sample rate back to what i want it to be. Ive locked the sample rate and it still does it. Im using the latest software for it, 3.0.4.

I dont remember ever getting this problem on previous versions of the software and it drives me nuts!

any ideas? cheers

have you called Echo?

I'm just about to order one of these and am interested in how you do on this. I just spoke to Echo on the phone this morning and have been exchanging emails since then. I think they are the folks to help you they have free support on the phone for purchasers of their gear.

I just never close the control panel, and I leave the AF on at all times.

:D

Lame as that is, it works.

the op is about a year and a half old and echo has updated the firmware and drivers for the af12 multiple times since then. the af12 is definitely a solid unit-- i had one until i downsized a bit in favor of an apogee duet on a mac system (also a great unit!), but i still have an audiofire4 that i use with my pc laptop, echo has great customer service incidentally.
