ebay faux paux bought the wrong interface!

I mistakenly thought I was buying a presonus fire studio for $420, and bought a presonus firestation.......giant error. (?)
haven't got it yet - says it is new in the box with warranty- paid for it with buy it now.
Looks like this one has 2 tube pre's and 8 in/out. guess I don't need the other 6 pre's, i have a SECK analog mixer wity pres for the other 6 inputs -
Anyone know anything about this unit? Did I screw the pooch?

That unit is now discontinued, but I think its an ok price. I dont remember what the blowout price was when they quit making them. You wont find a new Firestudio that cheap, its quite far under cost.
 
It really depends if you need the eight preamps or not. I'd say put it up on eBay, but you paid $420 for it new and used ones are going for $200-250. Yours is used now, so you won't get your money back on it.

If you don't need the eight preamps of the Fire Studio, just stick with the Firestation, it's a good unit.
