Easylee (Acoustic Cover)

Just recorded my second track, this time I played an acoustic cover of Ricardo Villalobos track, Easylee.

Originally it's a classic electronic track, so I went for an acoustic version.

Never heard the song before but sounds good. I was hoping to hear a whole heavy band come in and rock it out, but since you mentioned it was an acoustic track I figured it was wishful thinking.
Nice job though.

Sounds good, although the acoustic sounded a bit boomy to me. But it fits the mood of the song. Voice could do with some ambience, it's very "in your face".
In the guitar solo, some notes sound a bit flat.

I like it.

Great vocals. Good harmonies. The guitar sounds a little "dark", but it fits the song so no worries.

A few things I noticed. The tempo changes between the choruses and verses kind of threw me off. And the lead guitar over the vocals at the end just doesn't seem to fit quite right.


Overall, great job. Now I'm gonna go listen to the original.

In general I thought it sounded quite good. Mostly very good performances.

I'm hearing boominess in the guitar too. Sounds like the open low E?

The lead vocal is much dryer than the rest of the tracks. To me it doesn't quite sit well with the guitar and backing vocal.

I hear a couple of background noises here and there. Fret buzz (more than what I would want), mouth sounds, etc.

Some pitchiness in the harmonies in a spot or two.

All minor things. Good job.
