Easy Way To Get Effects Opposite of Audio Track?

Hi all,

I have Sonar XL 2.0, and I'm really enjoying it, although the learning curve has been a bit steep.

One trick I'd like to do, but haven't yet figured out (short of printing an effect to a new track) is to have effects panned to the opposite side of a track during a mixdown.

For example, lots of us have heard those early Led Zeppelin records, where Jimmy Page would have his guitar coming out of the right side of the stereo spread, but reverb or echo on the left.

Is there an eary way to achieve something like this when mixing down with Sonar?

Thanks,

Ed

I was surprised to find that alot of the delay plugs don't have pan for the echo voices. Seems like a logical and usefull feature that is missing. (I-want-my- Lex-i-con! -Sung to the tune of "I Want My MTV") :D
I believe if you patch it into an aux, doesn't the main send or return have a pan? (Can't get to sonar right now) Might work for a simple effect.

Yeah, what mixit said!

Set your track pan hard one way then your aux pan hard the opposite way, adjust levels and season to taste.

Mixsit and Acidrock,

I knew there was a way to do it--thanks guys!
