Hi everyone, new to this site, and looking for an easy way to learn without or little, driver, software, and navigation issues.
Any dependable interfaces, to use for recreational recording, more recording than fussing with buttons, clicks and downloads?
Have considered the Tascam us-144mkII and have a new MacBook Pro, lion and novice computer user. I liked the features of the 144 because I believe it was advertised as a possible stand alone mixer for in my case garageband.
I have 5 dynamic mics, live equipment, bass, korg keyboard, Yamaha drum machine, Jamman, Mustang Iv and four tube amps. Also a line 6 for recording, and have downloaded the kits in garageband. Bass subwofer, and ev speaker cab for Peavey bass amps, two to drive the speakers. I like the sound of the bass through the Deville, but it isn't a bass amp.
Maybe do bass internally? Any suggestions? For an interface? I also considered Tascam us 1800 but think it might be more trouble than the 144?
