E-MU upgrades

I am interested in getting the E-MU 1212M card. Originally, my plan was to get this for now and upgrade to the 1820M when I have more money.
After looking online for a while now, I haven't been able to find any place that just sells the audio dock and other upgraded features of the 1820M. I don't want to have to re-purchase the PCI card down the road and buy the total 1820M package.
Any word on when/if this will be an option?

I emailed E-MU a couple of weeks ago and asked the same question. They replied that they would offer the Audiodock separately but they had not determined a price at that time. They should know buy now. Maybe if enough people email them we will get an answer as to the price.

same thoughts here....

getting my feet wet with the 1212m, upgrading to 1820m later.

I might be wrong, but I think the Emu guys will wait a few months before they launch the upgrade option.
