Hey everybody....

I just got home from the store with my brand new E-MU 1820m

sure I'm gonna mess around and try things out...but I was wondering if someone who has this same card can tell me this:

the analog inputs and outputs seem to be stereo pairs...
how can I use these as mono in-and outputs?
also, I'd like to use pair nr 4 as regular outputs...

Appreciate it,

I have the same unit - yu're going to love it.

Which drivers are you using, ASIO or WMD?

You can route to Left or R of any input.

Yeah I'm totally looking forward to using it...I haven't made music for WAY too long. :D *happy*
Had a whole new PC just sitting around waiting...

Did you buy the Emulator-X Studio version....or just the card itsself?
If you bought the package...how do you like the software?

not using either driver yet....just stuffed the whole thing into my small Antec Aria case...lol...going to use ASIO though.

I figured stuff could be routed...

Another question: I wanna put the breakout unit on top of my pc, it looks really good.

Should I be really worried about interference from my PC's power supply? I figure it's pretty well-isolated...since everything in the case is a pretty snug fit....

I got the whole shebang. I like it, but honestly, I haven't played with it as much as I'd like.

I haven't heard of any. Mine is on top of my desk, next to my monitor, and I have noticed no interference from that.
