E-MU 0404 + CEP = Nothing

I recently purchased a E-MU 0404 sound card to try to solve some latency issues with my "dino" soundcard but ended up running into more problems then i orginally had.

I'm getting no "input" signal when trying to record in CEP at all ... all devices are set to the E-MU in CEP, i get playback sound fine ... but no signal to CEP.

I'm assuming im missing something in the "settings" but im clueless on what it could be, ive checked every possible thing i could think of.

It's driving me mad, i can now record absolutly nothing

Any help at all would be appreciated

The settings in CEP are pretty basic and obvious, so if you've selected your inputs and outputs in Cool Edit and you're still getting no sound, then it's probably a soundcard setting that you have to change.

I got it figured out finally (after 2 days of frustration) E-MU uses another program that needs set up in order to send the signal to your recording software (PatchMix) I stumbled onto a E-MU Forum and found out how to set it up correctly ^^
