dynamic and condenser through stereo mic pre

Here's a stupid question, and I'm sure it's on here somewhere, but couldn't narrow it down enough.

I've got one of the DMP3 mic pres, and I'm wondering if I turn on phantom power for a condenser, will it affect a dynamic SM57 plugged into the other channel? I mean, I know it will affect it, as the phantom power switch is for both channels, but will it affect the dynamic functionally, or the sound?
 
As long as your cable is fine, you'll be fine.

It's possible to damage a dynamic IF the cable is faulty when phantom power is applied. Pretty rare though I guess.
