DX-to-VST Wrapper

Is there any kind of freeware version of a program that does this out there anywhere? I've been trying to find one, but I can't seem too.
 
Do want DX to VST or VST to DX?
Cool edit only does DX plugins

yeah...

vst to dx, it says in cool edits help file dx-to-vst, I assumed a program would perform both functions. I may be wrong though, who knows.

There is a free VST wrapper that you can use to get Cool Edit to use VST plugins. I am not sure if this is the answer to your question though..
 
VST Wrapper

Well, I think you answered the question... But here's another one. What is the name of this VST wrapper and how can one go about accquiring it?? No less--would this apply to VSTi's as well? If you could slap in a midi track and have a VSTi on it, cool edit would replace all other music software in my computer...

Yeah, I was looking for a program to do it. Anyways, I downloaded that spinaudio one before I did this post and I couldn't get it to work. It says in it's help file that I need to open it in my source program (Cool Edit 2) and I have no idea what they mean. Could you help me out a little bit here too? Thanks.
 
Try this:

Edit View>Effects>Refresh Effects List

It works for plugins.
 
You may also have to REFRESH your effects list so that you can view the wrapper...
