i buying a tascam 424MKIII in hopes of creating some decent recordings. I have a band and I want to record all of us seperately. how would I sync the drums up if I am recording drums first and the intro of the song is guitar firsT??

if you have a spare track, do a click track or just count in with sticks.....

Or- record a scratch track with the guitar, then track the drums, then re-track the guit, using the scratch track as a guide. Before you do any of that, start with a click track.-Richie

Or
just record the drums first, with a 2 measure intro, then record the guitar, then when you mixdown pull back on the drum track fader to let the guitar go solo, then lift the drums back in at the appropriate time

Or- you can implore a drummer with perfect timing. I usually go with a scratch of the guitar and build on that. It just makes everything easier, and is a little more flowing unlike a ridgid click track.
