ATI all in wonder pro lines ... will give you what you are looking for. Dual monitor support and video in, plus plenty of RAM.
Just make sure you get updated drivers from ATI.com.
Also check the Nuendo forums to see if others experience any difficulties with certain video cards and/or specific drivers.

ATI Radeon 9200SE $44 at newegg.com

Works great.
I replaced a nVidia 5200 because there were mouse issues when running SX2.2

I am using an Asus GeForce FX5700 (128MB) card, available at both NewEgg and Multiwave for approx. $145. You can get the Asus GeForce FX5200 (128MB) for about $80.

Both of these are dual display cards. Most dual display adapters (incl. these two) have a DVI and RGB port, with an adapter to convert the DVI to RGB output.

Dual display functionality is addressed by both the OS (I am using XP Pro) and utilities provided with the video adapter. The application software is transparent to the process.

No. Besides, there are 32Mb versions of the G450 as well.

16Mb is more than enough memory for 1600x1200 in 32bit color. You would only need 64Mb or more if you were playing 3D games or doing 3D modelling work.

I don't trust ATI's customer support (case and point WDM driver issues in the All-in-Wonder card with Cakewalk software). ATI sucks when it comes to updating their drivers/software as well. I had to wait almost a year for working drivers for my old All-in-Wonder 128 when Windows XP came out.

nVidia's video quality is mediocre compared to Matrox or even ATI. I had a MX440 OEM card before upgrading to a Matrox P650.

ATI's video capture sucks as well. You're better off buying a separate video capture card from Pinnacle which will give you better picture quality.

one more thing. i dont have a huge budget for my flat panels, im looking to find 2 monitors for around $700 on ebay. From what i see, the Dell monitors look most in my budget. how do those rank in compared to others?

Yes, video is still considered 2D.

Gamer cards have huge amounts of VRAM to store texture maps and other obscure data, thats it. If you're not doing 3D work, its not an issue.
