this card looks very interesting, it has everything I need, wish it was cheaper though, what do you guys think about it?

I've never heard of that co.. But I think it is aimed more at listening to 7.1 surround on a dvd, on the pc rather than recording.

I agree... it's from the same people who make the Hoontech C-port.

NO. I mean, it would record, But... It's meant for listening to 5.1 or 7.1 surround on dvd's. You'd only have 2 channels in, and recoording is not it's best feature, I'm willing to bet.
