ADD -- blessing and curse
Ok, I finally broke down and bought CakeWalk Home Studio 2002. I'm looking for some good tips, the user's manual doesn't help me much.

When it comes to drums, could someone fill me in on SessionDrummer?

If I want to have a song where the percussion comes in later than the guitars, bass, etc. do I have to add silence for X number of measures first? How do I get that track to "show up", like an audio track would?

Ok, now, once I get all my audio tracks recorded, how do I fade out the tracks (like you hear in the outtro of a lot of songs)?

How the heck do I use FruityLoops?

I'm sure I'll think of more questions later...but this will be a good start.

Yup, add silence.

To "print" the session drummer track, highlight the track and find and execute the "Apply Midi Effects" command. (Not sure where the command is located in HS, since I use Sonar.)

Put a volume envelope on the VMain.
