Drumkit From Hell

Hello everyone,
Over the past couple months I've been setting a little studio up here for myself and things are going great. Many thanks to all the help I've received from everyone on this board.

My setup is now as follows:
AMD Athlon XP2800
512 MB Ram
Audiophile 24/96
Win XP Pro
etc.

Anyway, what I would like to do now is try out something like the "Drumkit From Hell" so I can program some simple drums here in the apartment. Being completely new to this still, do I just hook up my MIDI capable keyboard into the soundcard and go from there? Thanks!

Drum Kit from hell is nice, also look into BFD (www.fxpansion.com). They have a nice set of kits that i've been using for a few months now.

I use it through cakewalk 3.11. I just hook my midi keyboard into the computer and program away.
