Drumagog basic version?

Okay, since I can't buy drumagog basic from their website for another month or two (who knows when...?), is there anywhere else I might be able to buy the last version or something? I don't need every bell and whistle known to man & I'm no pro. I won't spring for the Pro version at $269. Kinda frustrating...you go through all the trouble to decide what to get, then you can't get it...
 
I'll follow myself up here...is there somewhere I can buy a previous version (like Drumagog 3) and upgrade down the road? It seems that any site (such as download.com) that offers it to "buy" just provides the demo version, which would then send me to drumagog's site anyway...where it can't be bought.
 
If you really want Drumagog 3, you can get it from the drumagog site, but it is the same price. There is no way to get it anywhere but the drumagog site.
 
Does anyone have a cracked version I could have?

HEY!! I used the word "buy" 3 times and the word "bought" once...I ain't no steenking pirate! :)
 
FYI - I just got off the phone with Wavemachine Labs and you cannot buy version 3. It's the new Pro version or nothing until at least early August...

Looks like I'll have to cough up the dough and shell out the $269...crap
 
are there samples of what drumagog can do up on their site? it hasn't really interested me but i have given it a fair chance.

You can download the demo version and try it for free for 14 days...it provides 4 decent samples to play with. There are also some tutorial video links and whatnot on their website. It's awesome. Pick a track, patch it through drumagog, pick whatever drum sound you desire, and presto: your drum recordings no longer suck! :D Assuming the drummer could actually play, that is...
