Ok, New thread.
I dont know much about whats out there.. and this isnt the forum for it.. But you can get full on sets of V-drums that send MIDI messages when you hit them with a stick.
OR, if you wanted, you could just get ONE or TWO pads/triggers/whatever its called, and use it for many different drums, one or two at a time. Ive seen them as little practice-pad looking things (only thicker) and they send starts and velocities.. and stuff. Record thatinto your sequencer of choice... and assign sounds at will.
Ive also seen things you clip on to real drums that just send a signal.. you can hook that to a sound module or drummachine.. and the module will send MIDI or Audio.. not as cool.
anyway, that is ALL i know anout it. I play real drums, and not very well.
