Hi guys
still pretty new on this
Sooooooooooooooooooo ....
I'm kinda looking for an easyway to get started with drum programming
and was wondering what tools would suited my needs
The stuff I got at hand (at the moment):
fruityloops and some decent .sf2 files + virtual sampler 2.75 to use them
maybe I'm just using it in a dumb way but I think there HAS to be a better way to lay down my drum tracks
I find it to be quite tedious
perhaps I'm not using FL to its full potential
,
perhaps I'd be better off at the moment with a good midi sequensing program that I dont know the existence off at the moment
or I a good midi controller might be a golden investment ..
but i't rather stick to the SW solutions then to go for a cheap HW aproach that I might outgrow too quick (like some cheap 25key midicontrolller thing while a roland xd5 would the investment to make
)
any starting tips would be appreciated ..
the thing about FL that bothers me is that it is based far too much in looping and you lose the oversight in your songstructure too quick
