Drum Sample hell...

Hey,

I am new to using samples and I used them in one of my new songs, but I had to place every single one manually...is there a tool that can place the samples dynamically so I dont have to spend an hour putting them in? If so what is it and how do I use it?

Do you currently have a drum track recorded? A drum track where you recorded real drums?

Then the drumagog suggestion is valid.

OR, are you trying to place these by hand using MIDI? Are you using a sequencing/recorder like Cubase or Sonar?

There are loops or MIDI parts that you can obtain and then just slightly edit those.

It sounds like you are literally placing a sample on the timeline or your project one at a time - ouch, that would suck. You can trigger the samples with MIDI - would be much better.

drumagog worked perfectly...but I am using the demo version...can you import other gogs with the demo version?
