Hi folks.
Today, me and my drummer have been recording some drums for some demo's. Just want some other, better ears to have a listen, advise on getting them to sound a little better. Here's what we did.....I know I can get better and tomorrow will be better. This is my first time recording drums!
Setting Sun
The set up I'm using is an 8 Channel Mackie mixer. Bass drum, Snare, Tom and Floor Tom mic'd up for 1 LDC for an overhead.
Sadly my soundcard only has 2 inputs sound everything (drum-wise) is being mixed in the mackie and recorded to a single track in Reaper.
Ignore the Guitar, Bass and Vocal. They are just put on temp to see how the drums sound in the mix.
Any advice/pointers welcomed most graciously?
