Drum dial setting for mapex brass snare

Hey all , Im just wondering what would be a good tension setting for a 14" mapex piccolo brass snare. Im really looking for a good snap with this one with a lot of top end (I use this snare for more intricate recording ala travis barker style) right now I have 75 on top and 70 on the bottom as per the drum dial settings. If anybody has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

You could probably see this coming a mile away:

Put the drum dial away and tune by ear.

Tune the bottom higher than the top.

Those are awfully low.

It became one of the most useless pieces of gear I have ever used.
