Wtf is a PRS
I have Cakewalk Sonar 4.
I am trying to re-record tracks from an external Roland workstation into my cakewalk.
Ideally id like to get one stereo track into My laptop but for some reason i cant figure out how to do this so i have to plunk it track by track into my Laptop.
I doubt its my hardware themselves its a sturdy well built hp...the sound card is the built in one.... its just the mic jack.....ugh.
So after many bumps in the road and thought i had a nice way of doing it down...
I listend to the play back after lining up the tracks and near the end everything gets all out of sync phase and all that.
I am assuming im dropping out and something isnt keeping up with something else.
I played a little with buffer size and latency i am still getting some lag and stuff.
I used the wave profiler and jigged with a few things here and there but i am still getting bips pops and dropouts...
How can i fix this.
Or is it impossible to record more then 1 minute or two of digital audio?
How much of help would it be to switch from 44000hz to 22000hz ? how much sound quality am losing ...
Keeping this is a demo recording for a metal bands myspace.
Ill shut up now.
