O.K. I'm embarassed.
Had a audiophile 24/96 for a few years and happy with it. Been rock solid so it has been a while since I downloaded and installed any new drivers
But now installing one on a new computer.
But need help remembering the simple procedure on how to install downloaded drivers on xp.

Any help appreciated.

It's been awhile for me, but lets see if I can rack (errr wreck?) my brain...

You download a zip file from the website. You unzip the files in some temp directory (or somewhere you can remember such as My Documents/delta_drivers)

Then you pop the card in the new PC and boot up. The New Hardware Wizard should pop-up. Don't have it automatically search for drivers, select the option for "I will specify the location." Then navigate to the directory where you unzipped the driver files. Select the *.inf file and continue on. You should be able to ignore the "Unsigned Driver" warning.

Hope that helps!

PS - I noticed you live in Nazareth. I went to Lafayette College some years ago and went to Naz often (visited the Martin factory a bunch of times). Is Jack Creek still off of Airport Road? Me and my wife's first date was at the Red Robin by the movies/Wal-Mart/etc...

Or...

You can download the driver.

Double Click on it.

It will install.

Then hook up your device and click next.

OK, maybe they've added a nice installer since I last installed my Delta back in 2003.

Listen to sixways!

Maybe not Gordone, but that's how my M-Audio Firewire 410 works and my Radium 49 key controller.

Should work though.

Ya the 2496 driver download gives you an .exe rather than an actual driver file, which makes it easy but I had a hell of a time trying to update with it - the only way to extract the file was to run the setup and then it wasn't overwriting properly.... I finally got it to work after spending an hour trying to locate old drivers and delete all traces of them.... urg....
For a fresh install though it should work well :)
