Hi, all!

I was hoping that someone might comment on these 2 amps:

Drive EA15VR and EA30VR Amps ("Drive" is the brand)

They are small acoustic combo amps. No local stores have these for me to try them.

Also, if anyone's using them, can they be heard over acoustic drums?

Thanks!

Drive EA15VR amp

Concerning the Drive EA15VR acoustic amp. to put it simply. It's a great amp!
I play a Johnson Savannah f-style mandolin through 2 Audio Tecnica, ATR-20 vocal/instrument grade microphones. And I have no problems being heard at jam sessions held at local venues, even when there are drums present. I am presently upgrading to the EA30VR due to the fact that I am now playing at out door events as well. I will keep the EA15Vr as a vocal amp and retain the EA30VR for my instruments. And to let you know why I use 2 microphones is simply this, on my microphone stand I have placed a cross bar and mounted 1 on each end, that way I cam move around while performing and still provide plenty of uninterrupted sound.
Also check samedaymusic.com as they give reviews on amps. and such.
Well, I hope my input was helpful.
Take care.
Jack :)
