I need to fix a small click in one of my tracks imported from Sonar. What's the best way? After you fix it, how do you export it back?

I know Sound Forge but not Sonar.
First of all, don't cut anything from it. It will likely pull the track off sync.
Highlight just around the click sound then right click and choose zoom selection. When you are zoomed in, you can zero in on the click by resizing the highlit area. If there are no sounds over it you could just reduce the volume of the click. I think volume is under the process menu.
I would expect that if you save it in its original format, it should still be Sonar compatible. Or if Sound Forge doesn't support the format Sonar should have some kind of import feature.
