DPM3, Line 6 UX2, Digi 001

I need 2 more mic pres. I have a DIGI 001. Will the DPM3 sound any better or worse than the pres on my DIGI 001? Also, I like the fact that the Line 6 UX2 has the guitar amp simulations, but can it act as an all purpose stereo mic preamp as well, say for recording acoustic guitar or drum overheads?

Are you sure you're not talking about the DMP3 ? I would say it would be an improvement over the DIGI 001 preamplifiers.
