DP-24 Problems

Has anyone had random "pops" show while working on songs? at first I thought it was in the recording then when I played back again to see the same spot it was not there.

anyone hear of this before?

yes I have the latest firmware, but I believe I found the problem.

I grounded the unit and that has seemed to resolved the POPS, of course I can't believe this has happened since I have never grounded any of the equipment I have bought over the past 40 years, first time to have this happen.

but it appears grounding the DP24 has resolved this issue.
 
could you explain how you grounded the unit,i see the lug on the rear panel ,where do I run the wire from the lug to
