DP-24 Audio Connection Question

Trying to get up to speed on this new recorder. My previous experience with home recording was with 4-track cassette, back in the 80's, so this is a bit of a challenge. I need to connect my Stereo Output to my monitor speakers, in order to listen to my tracks, pre-mixdown. My monitor speakers have RCA inputs. Do I need two RCA to 1/4" mono cables or two RCA to 1/4" stereo cables? I was leaning toward the former but I wasn't sure, so here I am. Thanks in advance.
 
Thanks, arcaxis. I just had another look at the manual and the connection diagrams look like mono is the way to go. A little text verifying that would have been nice but as operation manuals go, this one isn't too bad. I remember HP manuals from the 80's and 90's. lol
