Hello.
Don't know if there are shareware files or not to do this (I would think so), but I want to play a CD on my PC and have it transcribed to sheet music. I'd also like to play a CD on my PC and have it converted to an MP3 file. At this point in the game it's probably an old question, but what is the best way to put MP3 files on my band's (homestead) website?
thanks, and sorry if this is the wrong forum to seek such advice in.
adios joey

No such thing exists that I know of. Lots of people would be out of work if so. Although, it probably couldn't be much more inaccurate than the guitar tabs I use to read ages ago in Guitar Player and the like.

The second part is easy though, you need a CD ripper.

Once you have ripped the data off the CD, you then need to convert it to an mp3.

"question, but what is the best way to put MP3 files on my band's (homestead) website?"

Upload them to homestead if they allow mp3's. If not, get a page on www.mp3.com or better yet, www.listeningroom.lycos.com

Good luck.
