Ok, here is the situation. Laid all the tracks, listen to them countless of times without adding anything, took the lineouts on the Tascam, ran it through a graphic eq, and then into the input on a stereo hifi vcr. Took the lineouts of the vcr, ran them through the monitors and played the songs back on the Tascam to add just a small amount of eq for taste. After recording on the vcr and listening, ICKY-POOH!!! The overall mix SUCKS, but sounded so good before downloading. I'm not adding effects or anything, just a little highs and lows on the eq. It's nothing like it did pre-download. Checked all the goofy stuff, cables, connections, wires, power sources, grounging, etc.etc. Any ideas? vcr is a Sony
