I use my Boss BR 600 multi-tracker a LOT for creating jam loops in the "quantize" mode and using the on-board rhythms. Unfortunately, the standard rhythms that come on this machine are very conventional and while useful, they are rarely inspiring or get me out of certain rhythmic ghettos. Although supposedly conceived for creating and editing our own drum sequences, this machine is NOT user friendly, and I'm not even a drummer, so creating new rhythms of my own has not proved very fruitful.

So I'm wondering if anybody knows where I can down load extra banks of rhythms for the BR 600, or if you have created original rhythms of your own which you would be willing to share and which I can just download and "install" on my BR 600 (if I can figure that out).

Another option might be to get hip to all the new software that is out there and give up on dedicated machines like multi-trackers, but I'd like to make the best use of the technology and machines I already have in my possession.

Thanks for any help or advice.

I'm not even sure you can import rhythms, nor where you would find any if you can. The BR600 is a few years old as far as models go.

^This. You already have a computer. Now you just neeed some software, of which there are many free options and some very good cheap options. Doesn't mean you can't continue to record on your machine - they're just not good for looping and/or serious "fake" drumming...
