hey, what's going ahn here? i turn around for a few weeks, and you guys let the forums die?? whatsa matter wit you?
anywho, i have this shitty c-media soundcard in my internet computer that was working fine, and i made the mistake of 'upgrading' it while i was running window's auto update thingie. now it won't make a sound anymore. i tried everything i know, and it still won't work, so i'm thinking of going back to the driver i was using. only thing is i don't know how to. any tips? thanks.

If you are running WinXP, there should be an option in Control Panel to roll back the driver.

easy option it to pull the card. reboot. turn off. plug the card in and reboot. instal drivers when asked

Do you actually have the original drivers?

If so, go into Control Panel and remove the device. When you reboot, it should "find new hardware" (i.e., the sound card). Point the installation wizard to the original drivers.
