Just been given a white 70's Ibanez double neck SG to work with.

Man this thing is heavy! It's massive! A disgrace! Ugly! AND FULL ON ROCK!!!

You can't help but get Zepplin on every track! I was planning on using it on a 'slightly' rock track to give it some energy and it's turned into a monsterous dark soundscape. 2 tracks of 12 string and 3 6 string tracks (not including solo!).

Someone needs to stop me before I open a hell gate!

Any opinions on these Beasts?

Double yer pleasure, double yer fun!

Sounds like a dream come true, man.
I am envious.

I'll post a little piccie once I get home... It's lovely.

Sounds cool - both the guitar and the way your tune is going!

If you ever get tired of it you can put legs on it and make a nice coffee table. :D

Here is my Gibson doubleneck, and yes, I agree, it's frickin heavy.

But then I put on my Les Paul and it makes that fell real light, so I guess it has it's purpose.

Anyway, that guitar has the best action I have ever seen on a 12 string. It buzzes the frets until you get close to tune on it. It's amazing how much give that neck has with 12 strings on it.

Anyone ever played a double neck acoustic? I'm not sure if they would be heavier (I've never played a double necked electric), but the sheer size sure took some getting used to. I don't remember the brand, it may have been a custom job, but something simliar to this.
