Double click won't open all/arr files

For some reason VST has decided to stop opening .all and .arr files when they're double clicked. If I double click a file, Cubase will happily start up - but then I have to open the file using the menu... It's no big deal - but I'm sure it used to work. And I'm sure I could save about 30 seconds a week if I fixed it :)

Would someone be able to tell me what the default settings for .all files is for the 'file types' thingy in Windows (98) to fix this?

Thanks.

In windows explorer, go to View, Folder Options. Click on the File Type tab. See if *.arr is listed in there, if so see what it is associated with. You may have to edit it and reassociate it with Cubase by going to the cubase folder, linking it with the executable.

should of read your whole post.

Same for both.

"C:\AUDIO\STEINB~1\CUBASE~1\Cubase Audio VST\Cubase.exe" "%1"

BTW, the path may not be the same for you. Sometimes it ends up under C:\Program Files\Steinberg, and other times it ends up under C:\Audio\Steinberg.
