here is a tune that is some what rough due to the circumstances in which it was recorded, but overall i am happy with the way it turned out! I ask for any critique anyone feels like dishing out!
i know there is some clipping and would appreciate any advise
that could be given! Thanks,

some background on the recording: gtar, bass and drums recorded live to a 2 track cassette deck, copy and pasted arrangment in protools le. aux'ed w/room reverb. 2 vox takes 1 thru an AT3035 on a stereo track w/hall reverb, 1 thru mono sm 58 no effects. synth panned hard left and right. seagull, beach and thunder sounds d/loaded from the internet. master track
has comp. and limiter plugins on it. Tim,

.......the drums are well played, but the kick is little boomy at times, nice fills though.......i wasn't listening on headphones, but over speakers, the guitar was hardly audible at times, i'd crank it up.......the vocals are lacking something.......i like the voice and it seems on key and all, maybe the equipment is holding that part back?? i don't know.................also, get rid of the seagull, it seems really out of place

Wow... that's pretty murky-sounding.....!

The bass is just a muddy boom... so is the kick.... the snare and guitars are totally buried..... the vocal is pretty even-sounding (compression?) but too low in the mix........ and there's no high-end anywhere!

Seems you got the performance down pat, but it's completely buried in mud!

This seriously needs a cleanup and remix.........

thanks for giving it a listen

yes it is murky as hell. unfortunatly it was pulled off of a cassette.
so i dont have isolated tracks. i tried to mess with the eq but
everything i do effects somthing else! i have been recording
about a year so i still have alot to learn about eq, compression and a million other things! again thanks for taking the time to
listen and offer advise! tim,

I agree with the comments about the persormance. The vocal is buried, and the drums are killer. Does sound murky, though. I would crank up the guitar.
