does this happen to me or everyone else?

Once in a while i would turn on my interface which is a focusrite saffire 6 usb and go to turn on my 48volt phantom power and turn the gain up and then load my software to record on and it would pop and it would end up in my recordings but then sometimes it would pop once and then it wont pop anymore.

I am running a mac mini with a 2.53 intel core duo processor and 4GB of ddr3 ram. i have a mxl 992 microphone.
 
Try loading the softwqare before you fire up the phantom power
 
now i am having another issue with this interface. i would be playing music through itunes and then finish listening to one song and then go to click on another one and then it would start to play but no sound would be coming from my speakers. i then turn off my speakers and unplug the usb cable from my interface and then turn everything back on and it would start to work again. :mad:
 
Sounds like a USB audio driver bug. What version of Mac OS X?
